Meet Dr Meiri Robertson

Dr Meiri Robertson is an experienced maternal- fetal medicine sonologist. Meiri’s expertise is highly regarded by her peers and her advice is frequently sought for second opinion. Meiri cares deeply about her patients and goes out of her way to provide quality care.

Meiri started her career in Women’s Health and Imaging 20 years ago in Cape Town where she obtained her undergraduate medical qualification and later a post-graduate clinical genetics degree. Meiri also completed the Fetal Medicine Foundation’s diploma in Fetal Medicine to complement her practice. She was offered a Fetal Medicine Fellowship at the Canberra Hospital in 2003 and has called Australia home since then.

Meiri has worked as the Director at the Fetal Medicine Unit at the Centenary Hospital for Women & Children. She is a lecturer at the Australian National University and a board member of the Australasian Journal of Ultrasound In Medicine. Meiri was acknowledged for her contributions to the Australian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine in 2013 when she was named Volunteer of the year and in 2014 as the Sonologist of the Year. In her free time Meiri enjoys spending time with her family.
